A handling and restocking fee, plus all freight costs, will apply (minimum 15%). Fee may be waved for warranty, repair, or shipping damage.
POWER/MATION CUSTOMER RETURNS POLICY
The following Customer Return Policy applies to all goods, products, and supplies purchased from Power/mation. Power/mation reserves the right to modify this Returns Policy at any time. Power/mation will alert you to any such change by updating the “Last updated” date above. The Returns Policy, as in effect when an order for Materials is submitted or a quote is accepted, will govern the return of such Materials.
CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL RETURNS
Except as provided below for Material shipped by Power/mation in error, whether a refund or credit will be granted for returned Material will be determined by Power/mation in its sole discretion.
For Material to qualify for a refund or credit (less the restocking and other charges outlined below):
- Customer must submit a return request at Returns & Repairs – Power/mation and provide Power/mation with the original order number, purchase date, and specific reason for return.
- Power/mation must issue written authorization before submitting the return.
- Material must be unused, in original packaging, and in saleable condition; free of customer labels or writing on boxes or product;
- Material must be returned within six (6) months of purchase.
- New product, current series in resalable condition.
- Not used/no power applied; not installed.
- Boxes must be unopened.
- No physical damage to the product or original packaging.
- If the product is factory sealed, the seal must be intact, not tampered with, or broken.
- Free of any stickers, tape, or labeling.
- No writing on the box with pen or marker.
- In original carton with all packaging, accessories, carton inserts, including protective electrostatic discharge bags and coverings.
- Must be in delivery unit quantity.
- If a ‘consists-of’ product, all components must be returned complete and unopened.
Any Material that has been modified or altered in any way or that otherwise fails to satisfy the conditions set forth herein is non-returnable and non-refundable and, if returned, is subject to being returned to you at your expense.
Shipping. Unless the customer and Power/mation arrange for pick-up by Power/mation, the customer is responsible for delivering the returned Material to the location specified by Power/mation. Power/mation reserves the right to charge for pick-up services.
Unauthorized Returns. All Material returned without prior written authorization from Power/mation will be held, and your Power/mation Account Manager will be contacted for disposition. Unauthorized returns are subject to being returned to you at your expense.
Title/Risk of Loss. Power/mation does not take title to or assume the risk of loss of returned Material until the returned Material has been delivered to the location specified by Power/mation. The customer shall retain the risk of loss for all Material returned to Power/mation without Power/mation’s prior written authorization and for all returned Material that does not satisfy the conditions set forth herein.
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS & CHARGES
In addition to the general conditions and requirements set forth above:
NON-STOCK, NON-CANCELABLE, NON-RETURNABLE, AND SPECIAL ORDERS MATERIAL
- All non-stock, non-cancelable, non-returnable, and special-order returns must have previous authorization from the manufacturer of the Material. The amount of the restocking fee will be determined by the manufacturer upon acceptance. Credit for non-stock and special-order items will be issued after Power/mation has received approval to ship the product to the factory. A handling and restocking fee, plus all freight costs, will apply (minimum 15%).
- The following Materials are non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Made-to-order Material; and
- Wire cuts.
WARRANTY AND DEFECTIVE MATERIAL
- Customer must advise Power/mation of the nature of the defect.
- Credit will be issued based on the terms and warranty of the manufacturer. Some products are “Repair Only” and/or “Exchange Only” under manufacturer warranty and may not be returned for credit.
POWER/MATION ERRORS or Direct Shipped Damaged Items
- Power/mation must be made aware of any Material shipped in error within 30 days of receipt. Returns of this nature identified more than 30 days from receipt are contingent upon the approval of a Power/mation Returns Specialist.
- All items that have been shipped directly to the customer and received damage will be the customer’s responsibility to report damage and file a freight claim with the delivery freight company.
